Her cultural policy knowledge and how landscape architecture fits within the frameworks of policy in the areas of community, environment and economy is current. She is a member of the Landscape Research Group where her academic interest in the relationship between artists and place is developing.

She is a printmaker, published author and illustrator, currently both an artist-member and the Acting Chair and a Trustee of Belfast Print Workshop.
